~Happy Mothers Day~
Once a year everyone comes together to celebrate a day that has been set aside for mothers. Why should mothers day only come once a year, should it not be mothers day everyday? Shouldn't appreciation be shown daily for mothers, I mean we are there when you need us and when we are not needed. Whether you are celebrating mothers day with your mother or you a mother cherish each day as if it is the last, give thanks everyday not just once a year.

ReplyDeleteMM, I'm sure we all share the same story and our parents had to deal with our attitude as well. The only exception is that now a days we have learned to give our children space. We have also given them the opportunity to express themselves without us getting all bent out of shape. I recall my parents having a hard time with that. Happy Belated Mother's Day to you too.
You make so much sense. I see it this way, I'm the queen and through out the year, I take care of my kingdom and my people. I get one day out of the entire year to kick back and I do not have to overlook palace. That is the day my people have to figure it out on their own. That is also the day they notice that the queens job is not easy... that is when appreciation come knocking at my door. ..... =)
ReplyDeleteI still like Mother's Day because of the cute things my kids make for me, but they also make cute things at other times, like little ceramic bowls that are now sitting on my desk.
